Biography

I am a new choreographer living and working in Canterbury, UK.

I am currently studying a MA Honours Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have created several new pieces ranging from solo to group works.

I was introduced to dance at age 15 during my GCSEs. Before this I had always enjoyed dance but never had the confidence to follow it on my own creative level. Over the years my confidence in myself and dance has developed due to being taught by inspiring and creative teachers and lecturers that exposed me to new ideas and ways of thinking. I work with practitioners from many different fields; I believe this enables an artist to broaden their view points.

These experiences have instigated a hunger to discover more and to create my own choreographic works. As well as lead and participate in new projects and workshops in dance. In the near future I aspire to research, study and potentially work in Europe; predominantly Germany.
