MEN

MEN was created in 2014. The piece was created as a result of a questionnaire had made especially for the opinions of female students. The questions were based around the student's perceptions of men as whole; the results were not completely positive.

The results from the questionnaire allowed me to create an unbiased peice from the perspective of women, which played with the ideas of; Boys Never Grow Up, Men Are Pigs and All Men Are The Same.

Using these ideas resulted in a dynamic pieceof Dance Theatre that involved percussion through the body, vocalisation and dramatic exaggerations.

MEN was selected for The Canterbury Festival in 2015.
